NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER !!!

This incident that I am going to share with you guys certainly left a HUGE impact in my life...one that changed my perception and how I look and judge people...

It was a pretty crazy and hectic day for me today...right after a three hour long lecture I was practically running towards the station hoping that I would be able to catch the 5:03p.M train back home...unfortunately, I was late by a few seconds as I watched the train leave just as I arrived at the platform...the thought of having to wait for half-an-hour for the next train was extremely frustrating...Having no other options but to wait for the next train...I sat and waited...and waited...and waited...tik-tok-tik-tok...it felt like the longest half an hour of my LIFE...

Until...

This guy caught my attention...he was HUGE !!! in his mid 20’s I would say...he was veryyyy tall and very well built and muscular...If he was green in colour one will not be able to tell the difference from him and Hulk...hehehehe :P ok k...that was an exaggeration...but the point is...he was a really huge guy...or at least...definitely bigger than the average Asian men...He walked towards me ( well at that moment it felt like he was charging towards me...and I have to admit...I felt rather intimidated – which is extreamlyyyy rare ) and sat right beside me...

Being the talkative, friendly person that I am...I decided to talk to him since I was bored and alone...but looking at him - he was so serious and had this stern look on his face...as he looked at his phone as if he was going to crush it...I don’t think he even blinked...I changed my mind and decided to keep my mouth shut and mind my own business...hehehe * winks ( which I have to say was the smartest decision I have made to date...you will know exactly why in a bit )

After awhile, the train arrived and we happened to get into the SAME DECK!!! As usual...at that pick hour...hoping to get a place to sit would be just as good as hoping to win a MILLION DOLLARS in lottery...and so, I stood right at the back...now, guess who was standing right beside me...

SURPISE !! SURPRISE !! You got it...that ‘HULK’ dude I met earlier at the platform... sometimes I think God simply has a jolly good time making my life look like a sitcom :S

I felt like I was going through detention....Oh No...Far worse...it was as if I was in an interrogation room with this officer standing right beside me...making sure I behave...haixzzzz...trying to make the best of the journey...I decided to enjoy the view since I happened to be standing right beside the window...the same view which I have been looking at for the past two years :P

Just when I thought things could not possibly get any ‘better’...I heard this rather....ummmm...how shall I put it...Funny voice...more like Unique actually....OOOOOK...I was just trying to be nice...hehehehe...honestly...it was like a quiet chatter...a sharp squeaking voice...it sounded like a MICE if it could talk...I have never heard anyone with such a peculiar voice...and so I turned around in the hope that I would be able to have a good look at this person...

Little did I know...it was the guy who was standing beside me....YES !!! THE ‘HULK’ DUDE !!! My mouth fell and my eyes was as big as two golf balls...and it almost popped out...I could not believe my ears...I was in a complete state of SHOCK !!! and when I came out of that state...I immediately turned 360 degrees...facing the window...I closed my mouth trying my best not to burst out laughing...I even started crying because I could not control myself anymore...my body was shaking as if I was getting electricuted...trust me when I say that nothing can be more torturous then that :D

Luckily, his conversation on his phone did not last too long...I don’t think I would have been to control myself...hehehe :P

Can you imagine what would have happened if I has a conversation with him...How am I supposed to look him in the eyes and talk to him when he is talking (in his case squeaking) ??!! Unless I’m partially deaf... then that would be a different issue...fortunately or unfortunately I’m not...

I don’t mean to be discriminative or insensitive...but when he sounded completely different from the way he looks...I just couldn’t control myself...

And so, I learnt a very veryyyyy valuable lesson today : NEVER EVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER !!! :D

OOOOOPS !!!! I DID IT AGAIN....

Two days ago...I went to Malacca to take a short holiday with my family...It was pretty boring since we did not have much to do ( visiting all those historical buildings were out of the question since I have seen them for like a million times...) and so, we ( me, mum and my brother) decided to head to the mall and do some window shopping...after awhile we got bored of that too...and so we decided to watch a movie...what a brilliant idea ( the easiest way to kill time... :P )

After debating for awhile on what movie to watch...we decided to watch ‘Legion’(its a pretty good movie...of course, I would have enjoyed it better if I had not made a complete fool out of myself during the movie...)

This is what happened......

We bought our tickets...got a box of popcorn (going to a movie can NEVER be complete without it... its like a MUST...hehehe) and we went into the theatre...we got the best seat...the second row from the top and the middle seats...I happened to be sitting beside this Indian man ( in his mid 40’s I would say...that would explain why I did not pay any attention to him :P)

Anyway, since we decided to only get a box of popcorn and share...My brother was sitting in between me and my mum...holding the popcorn...Everything went well until.........

We were half way through the movie...and the movie was getting pretty interesting...there were times when I could not take my eyes off the screen (I was reallyyyy getting into the movie) and so I was eating the popcorn and enjoying the movie...

At one point...my popcorn tasted different (we got the light and sweet but the popcorn that I was eating tasted like caramel) Not giving much thought to it (since I was busy concentrating on the movie) I just took some more...but this time...This guy’s hand was in the box (I HONESTLY thought it was my brother’s hand) and so, feeling rather annoyed cause I could not take the popcorn...I tapped (OK !!! it was more like HIT !! ) his hand and took the popcorn...and that was when it hit me...

I WAS TAKING POPCORN FROM THE WRONG BOX !!!!!!

I just froze when I realised what I had done...not only did I take that guy’s popcorn...I hit his hand !!

You cannot imagine how I felt at that moment...I did not move an inch throughout the movie...I was just hoping and praying that he would not get up and slap me or something for taking his popcorn...

The moment the movie ended, I quickly got up and practically ran out of the theatre...

I was sooooo embarrassed about it...that I was just hoping that I would I would NEVER LIKE IN A MILLION YEARS BUMP INTO THAT GUY !!!!

Lesson learnt : Get my OWN popcorn the next time I go for a movie !!! :P

Sometimes it makes me wonder...’why does these “paranormal” moments ONLY take place in MY LIFE !!!’ hmmm...but then again...its these things ( more like lessons actually...hehehe) that makes my life so interesting...I don’t think I will ever be bored of LIFE !!! :P hmmmmmmm.........

The Mirror Image Of Myself As A Child :P

After having a loooooong day in college....I decided to grab a cup of hot drink before heading back home...and so, feeling rather drained out because of the 5 hours long lecture...I was practically dragging myself to the cafe...just I thought the pain of walking was over ( although it was only a 5 minute walk...at that time I felt like I had done 12 laps or something...hehehe :P ), I noticed that there was a veryyyy long queue at the counter and I decided to turn back...there was NO way I was going to queue up for half an hour just for a drink...but something stopped me and I changed my mind...

As I was queuing up...this young man caught my attention...he was so very very cute...big blue eyes, chubby pinkish cheeks...haixzzzz...if only he was a little older... we would b a PERFECT match ( you will know exactly why soon) :P

Alright...HE WAS 3 YEARS OLD !!!! :D hahahaha...

As I was admiring how cute he looks as he was busy eating his muffin, with chocolate all over his face :) he suddenly turned to my direction...feeling rather excited I waved and winked at him ;) of course expecting the natural respond that any other kid his age would do...just stand there feeling rather stund... :P But you wouldn’t believe what happened...

He ever so cute and innocently waved and WINKED back at me !!! hahahaha :D

I was soooo shocked... because I really did not see that coming or expect that kind of respond from him...hahahaha... :D

And I thought I was being cheeky !!! :P I can only imagine what he would be doing when he gets a little older...hehehe *winks!!

It got me thinking though... if I would did something like that when I was a child...hmmmmm...the possibilities are there though...hahahaha :P

Another unforgettable memory in the train...

Hey guys...I know that it has been awhile since I wrote...but no worries...I’M BACK !!! :D
As you guys would have realised...my blog is mostly about my daily life in my crazy, unpredictable world...so is my next blog :P
This incident took place a few days ago...
It was the first day of college after a two week break for Christmas & New Year...
As usual...I travelled to college with the only mode of transportation that I know of...the KTM !!!
The train was rather crowded that day...and it was terrible because I didn’t have a place to sit...just the thought of having to stand for an hour was torturous...
As I was trying to make the best of the journey by listening to my MP3...this really cute guy came into the same compartment that I was in at the very next station...I thought to myself... ‘God...you really do know how to make my day !!! :D ‘...Somehow...I found this guy to be rather attractive...I couldn’t tell what or why exactly...but there was definitely something about him that made me want to talk to him...
And so, without giving much thought to it...I approached him...and we started talking about all the general stuffs like where we were heading to and what we were doing...
Although the conversation was going on smoothly, I realised that throughout our conversation...he hardly looked at me...he would be looking somewhere else while talking to me...at first I thought he had some problem with his eyes or something...and then I realised...that he just wasn’t concentrating on our conversation...something or someone behind me seemed to have caught his attention...
Feeling rather uneasy about it at first...I turned behind to look around...maybe there was someone he knew or maybe there was this really attractive lady standing somewhere behind me...but every time I turned around...no one really caught my eyes...and so, I ignored his unusual behaviour and continued talking to him...I know...I never learn my lesson...As I was telling my friend about this incident, I realised what an idiot I was...I mean clearly there was something wrong with this guy...and instead of cutting off our conversation ( which I think any normal person would do ) I continued talking to him...God knows why...because I cannot come up with a logical explanation for my actions... :o)
After awhile...I realised that I had enough of it...I mean ‘WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM...WHY ON EARTH IS HE LOOKING SOMEWHERE ELSE WHEN HE IS HAVING A CONVERSATION WITH ME...???’ all these questions were running through my head...And the curiosity to find out ‘why he was behaving so unusually??!!’ was killing me...
And so, I took a step back ( just in case he started going amok or something) and I asked him ( I was a little shaky at that point of time because I didn’t know what he was going to say :S )
‘Is there someone you know behind me??!! If there is...I really would not mind if you want to go over and talk to that person instead...because I notice that you are looking somewhere else throughout our conversation...’
His reaction was very different from what I expected...He actually started blushing...Like for real !!! His ears and cheeks were getting a little pinkish...and he had this really shy smile on his face...this was when I realised that taking a step back from this guy was probably the smartest thing I did all day... :P
After awhile...he very hesitantly told me...
‘Oh...I’m sorry but I could not stop noticing that guy behind you in the blue shirt...Dont you think he is cute??!! ‘ My mouth almost fell...I could not believe what he told me and I just froze ( like literally ) I didn’t know what to do or say...or how I should react to his question...did he expect me to react by saying, ‘oh...hell yeah...hez soooo cute...u should soooo go for it babe !!!’ :P hahahaha...
Anyways...he did not stop there...he then asked me if he should go over and talk to him...
Still in the shock...I just nodded my head and smiled back (you have nooooo idea how difficult that was) he did not waste another minute...he immediately walked over to that guy and started talking to him ( it felt like he didn’t want to waste anymore time talking to my and he dashed off the moment I nodded my head...ishhhhhh...what an insult!!! :S )
Just as I was recovering from my shock...they ( the guy I was talking to and the ‘guy in the blue shirt’) walked towards the door (which was where I happened to be standing) as they were going to get down at the Subang Station...they seemed like they were getting along pretty well :)
And just before the guy that I was talking to got down from the train... ( you wouldn’t believe what he did)
HE SMILED AND SHOWED ME A THUMBS UP !!!!!
That was all it took to send me back to my state of shock...I did not recover until I reached my station :P
Hahahaha...In a nutshell...I got dumped for another guy !!! :P (bet this only happens to one in a million people out there eh...or is it still too small of a ratio :D hehehe)
As insulting and embarrassing as it was...this experience really thought me never to judge a person so soon...and the next time I get a hunch that something is wrong...hopefully I’ll stop talking to that person :P
Sure hope you guys had a good time reading my blog :) and maybe learned a thing or two...hehehe :P
And to the guy in the train...
If you ever read this...I want you to know that...I’m only glad that you got lucky that day...hehehe :P
* Carry laughter with you wherever you go as it is a tranquilizer with no side effects :P
